Regarding the design I chose DWs proportions from the Ducktales reboot (he appears quite athletic there, with his strong shoulders and small hip O_O), as well as the clothing style (I really like it a lot =D). I wanted to draw those two together as crime-fighting heroes, and not only because I always loved their relationship, even way back then. Only this time he is accompanied by his (now teenage) daughter Gosalyn (aka Quiverwing Quack). I mean…she defeated freakin’ Duckthulhu! How awesome is that?! X3 She was always one of my favourite support characters in the old TV Show and after reading the comics I loved her even more. I LOVED how it was done in the comics (the ones with the amazing artwork of James Silvani) and that Morgana had a much bigger role in there. If there really is going to be a DW reboot in 2021 (it will be the show’s 30 years anniversary, sooo…<_<) I hope to see this family united. I don’t know…I just wanted to draw cuddly stuff with the characters (I actually never drew Launchpad before, lol) and this is what came out.
